Hello everyone!

I’ll just quickly say when I got to the last tweetup, there was an idea for a website that would allow one place to chat about Topeka Tweetups. I knew I could use wordpress and make it a pretty slick site, so I volunteered to pick up the domain TopekaTweetUp.com.

I would like to have photos on the site from the Tweetups. We can do this a few ways, we can use flickr & I’ll post an email that you can email pictures and I’ll just have to approve them. Or we can use something with twitpic or yfrog, two well known Twitter image sites. We could even do live feeds for the larger events, would need to find a projector.

I’m looking for help on this, I don’t have a bunch of time but I can defiantly keep this site running like a champ. I can also help promote it in the search engines. I can help contact new businesses that would be interested in hosting Tweetups. I’m going to make a page with everyone that has hosted a Tweetup, a way to say thanks for the support.

I’ll add some cool twitter stuff to the site, and a place that you can put your username. That way others in Topeka will see your post and want to follow you.
